Tomato Black Russian (Beefsteak)

Dark, deep-red to shiny, black fruit with green shoulders, the firm texture flesh is a deep reddish-green colour and the flavour is outstanding. For indoor production. Early to mature.

Indeterminate (cordon) variety-requires support & side shooting.

Tomatoes need full sun and rich, fertile soil that has either had compost or manure dug into it or had a general high-phosphorous fertiliser or pellets of poultry manure added to it. Only add lime if the soil is very acidic.

Sow 2cm (¾”) deep.

Plant 38-45cm (15-18″) apart.

Space rows 90cm (36″) apart.
