Tomato
Tomatoes are easy to grow under cover or outside in a sunny, sheltered spot. Homegrown tomatoes are full of flavour and are available in a wide range of colours and sizes. Cordon tomatoes are grown as a single stem trained up a cane or string. Side shoots in the leaf joints should be pinched out and once four or five trusses have flowered cut out the top to stop further growth. Bush varieties can be left to grow more freely.
