Beetroot Bolivar (Detroit) Organic

A classic, main-crop globe beetroot which produces excellent quality, smooth skinned globe beets with strong skin and flesh colour. It is a high yielding variety with good internal colouring and excellent taste.
It is suited to both early and main crops.

Grow in a sunny position with reasonably good soil that has a neutral pH of 6.5 -7.

Early sowings should be sown in pre-warmed soil under cloches.

Sowing depth 2.5cm (1in) deep.

Sowing distance 10cm (4in) apart.

Row spacing 30cm (12in) apart.
