Beetroot Boltardy

Good quality globe shaped roots with a superb deep red colour. Maybe sown earlier than other varieties because of its resistance to bolting.

Grow in a sunny position with reasonably good soil that has a neutral pH of 6.5 -7.

Early sowings should be sown in pre-warmed soil under cloches.

Sowing depth 2.5cm (1″) deep.

Sowing distance 10cm (4″) apart.

Row spacing 30cm (12″) apart.
