Cabbage April – Spring Cutting

Compact, early plants with small, firm hearts. Very popular. Can withstand tendency to bolt.

Cabbages will grow in most fertile soils. dig in compost or manure the previous autumn, add lime in the winter if the pH of the soil is below 6.8.

Sow 2cm (3/4″ deep.

Plant 30-45cm (12-18″) apart.

Space rows 40-60cm (16-24″) apart.
