French Bean Dior – Dwarf

Yellow waxy pods, 13cm (5in) length, with an excellent flavour produced on compact plants. (50cm)

French beans dislike wind and cold and a sudden frost will kill them so grow in a warm and sunny sheltered spot and plant out in June. They grow best in a fertile soil with plenty of organic matter dug in, this should be neutral to slightly acidic with a pH of 5.5-7.

Sow 5cm (2″) deep.
