Leek Autumn Mammoth Tornado

This early variety is comparable to Goliath if left to mature to full size. It has a long shaft and erect leaves, with some rust resistance. Also excellent for baby leeks. Gives a good crop from autumn onwards.

Leeks need a deep, well drained soil enriched with well-rotted compost or manure.

Sow 2.5cm (1″) deep.

Plant 15cm (6″) deep.

Plant 15-20cm (6-8″) apart.

Space rows 30-38cm (12-15″) apart.
