Pepper Hercules F1 – Hot

Hybrid jalapeno type. Large, heavy good quality fruits, can be picked green or allowed to ripen to red. Good disease resistance. SHU rating 4,000-6,000.

Chillies require a long growing season and should be started early at a temperature of 18 – 21°C (64-70°F) in order to guarantee germination. They like heat and humidity and best grown under glass or even on a sunny window, although it is possible to grow them in a sheltered, sunny spot.
