A popular old favourite with long, bright-red, oval shaped roots with a mild but tasty flavour.

Will grow almost anywhere, although they dislike recently manured soil.

Sow 1cm (1/2″) deep.

Thin to 2.5cm (1″) apart.

Space rows 15cm (6″) apart.
