This purple variety produces well formed spears from June to October, depending on sowing date and
climate.
Produces high quality coloured spears and has good heat tolerance. A high yielding and versatile variety.

Grow on a sheltered site in any fertile soil. dig in compost or manure the previous autumn, add lime in the winter if the pH of the soil is below 6.8, and firm it down well.
