Very high yield and good disease resistance. Well suited to the cool, moist areas of the North and West. Purple skin and creamy white flesh.
Swedes are not really fussy but like to grow in soil that has had compost or manure dug in before sowing. Add lime to raise the pH to around 7 if needed.
Sow 2cm (¾”) deep.
Thin to 23cm (9″) apart.
Distance between rows 38cm (15″).
