Very reliable with sweet and tasty purple skinned roots. This good quality variety is very winter hardy and has resistance to powdery mildew
Swedes are not really fussy but like to grow in soil that has had compost or manure dug in before sowing. Add lime to raise the pH to around 7 if needed.
Sow 2cm (¾”) deep.
Thin to 23cm (9″) apart.
Distance between rows 38cm (15″).
